March 18th AITP Dinner Meeting: Women in IT: The Facts
The United States Department of Labor estimates that by 2016 there will be more than 1.5 million computing-related jobs available. Technology job opportunities are predicted to grow five times faster than jobs in other sectors, or up to 25% over the next three decades. Yet U.S. universities are estimated to produce only half of the Computer Science graduates necessary to fill these jobs.
