The Harold M. Pool Memorial Scholarship was established by the Mile High
AITP Chapter in memory of its first president. The chapter was founded
in 1952 and Harold was an active member until his death in February,
2001.
To be eligible to receive a scholarship a student must be a member of
either the Mesa State College (MSC) or Metropolitan State College of Denver (MSCD) AITP Student Chapters.
Letters of recommendation are solicited in the spring from the faculty advisors of these student chapters. In the spirit of Harold Pool, the recommended student must be quite active in the student chapter, have a propensity for mentoring others, and obviously care about the success of others. The goal of the scholarship is to encourage those students whom the Chapter believes will continue Harold's legacy.
